Review: Sweet Charity.

Standard

I didn’t really know what to expect with Sweet Charity but it was everything I wanted and more. The singing was brilliant, Tamsin Outwaithe was great as the leading lady Charity. She was the kind of eternal optimist you end up really rooting for and, although her dancing didn’t stand out from the crowd, the singing and acting was great. Shy and panic-ridden Oscar was an unlikely love interest but the pairing was definitely a good one. One of the cast members had a solo dance while Tamsin was doing a costume change and she was amazing!

My whole day was fabulous in all honesty, even the normally boring train rides. I really quite enjoy the whole London atmosphere and the fact that it’s been sunny both times I’ve been done there this year has really added to it!
